Once you have the set of ingredients you can grab handfuls of, then you have the options to put them in the cauldron or use the mortal/pestle to crush them first. It will then give you an option to setup those ingredients. The bench has a book with known recipes, so you can read the directions and see the ingredients. I usually hate having to chase potion recipes and ingredients, but Kingdom Come Deliverance’s gameplay makes this so much more fun than any other game I’ve played. I’ve focused Kingdom Come gameplay sessions more on melee weapons, but it is so satisfying when I am able to pick off an enemy with the bow. Building up the skill gives you more stamina/ability to not sway so much, handle a stronger bow and to draw the bow longer. The swaying when you have low skill makes it hard to hit things. There’s no reticle to know exactly where you are pointing, so it takes awhile to get used to. Hand to hand combat uses a similar system.Īrchery Knocking an arrow with the next victim in sight. There are combos you can learn, feigning, master strikes, etc. You can even stab straight with a right click. There’s a five point star that let’s you know whether you are going to swing at the opponents head, arms or legs. I love how you control the sword (axe, mace, etc.) with the mouse in Kingdom Come Deliverance gameplay. Melee Weapons Sword fight with Captain Bernard I do recommend buying the Royal Edition at the $40.00 it is right now (or during the inevitable sales that will come).Īs a side note, I think the that’s part of the free Epic games hook – give the base game free, knowing people will get hooked on things like Kingdom Come’s gameplay and then spend on the DLCs or microtransactions. I snagged the game when it was free on Epic and it only took a few hours for me to decide to purchase the upgrade to the Royal Edition (includes all DLC). Increasing your Warfare has three primary impacts on your fighting: (1) it increases the speed of your attacks, (2) it makes it harder for your opponent to defend against your attacks, and (3) your weapons will take less damage while you are in combat. The first post! Well I’ve spent work weeks worth of time in Kingdom Come Deliverance ( Royal Edition to be exact) gameplay, which has been a long road considering the whole theme of this blog about not having enough hours to play (only half way through !!!). As you increase your Warfare your ability in fights with ALL weapons (even bows and unarmed) is increased. In essence, it represents how skillful of a fighter you are and determines how capable on the battlefield you can be. ![]() Warfare is basically KC:D’s catch-all offensive stat. Both of these stats level up as you engage in combat and have their own perk pools. Each of these plays a major role in how effective Henry is at surviving combat. There are two overarching combat skills in KC:D – Warfare and Defense. Leveling up your Combat Skills is essential to your success. In Kingdom Come Combat Skills allow you to build Henry into the deadliest fighter in all of Bohemia – and maybe even Hungary. If you are looking for how to increase your Skills in KC:D check out our guide on leveling up Skills. There are two main types of skills: (1) Combat Skills and (2) Non-Combat Skills. If you have the time and willpower to grind you can make Henry a true Jack of All Trades by mastering each skill. Unlike other RPGs, you do not need to specialize in just a few skills. In addition, each skill has its own perks that allow you to modify Henry’s ability in unique ways. Just like Stats the more you practice each skill the better it will get. Skills in KC:D build Henry’s ability to better perform all of the various tasks and skills he will need to succeed and survive during his adventure. ![]()
